Intro to Upholstery
With Anick Joanisse, founder of Le Verger Hudson Bio, and Fabrique du Verger
This hands-on upholstery workshop is packed full of learning opportunities to accomplish on your own chair seat project. You will be guided through the steps involved in analyzing and stripping the seat, applying new stuffing and finishing with the new fabric cover.
We limit the class to only 5 students so you will have one-on-one instruction. By the end of the workshop students will be able to confidently upholster other chair seats.
Students must provide their own fabric. You will receive a Fabric Selection Guide upon sign-up.
Lunch is provided as well as some materials and tools
The participant must submit a photo of their chair seat project for approval prior to registration.

Initiation au rembourrage
avec Anick Joanisse, fondatrice de Le Verger Hudson Bio et de Fabrique du Verger
Cet atelier pratique de rembourrage est riche en occasions d’apprentissage pour vous permettre de réaliser votre propre projet d’assise de chaise. Vous serez guidé(e) à travers les étapes d’analyse et de dégarnissage de l’assise, l’application d’un nouveau rembourrage et la finition avec le nouveau revêtement en tissu.
Nous limitons la classe à cinq participants afin de vous offrir un accompagnement personnalisé. À la fin de l’atelier, les participants seront en mesure de garnir d’autres assises de chaise en toute confiance.
Le participant(e) doit fournir son propre tissus. Un Guide Pratique de Sélection de Tissu vous sera acheminé après l’enregistrement.
Le dîner est fourni, ainsi que certains matériaux et outils.
Le participant(e) doit soumettre une photo de son projet de chaise pour approbation avant le cours.
